What Do We Choose from

All bearing and stabilisation features of the sets are made of acacia wood (Robinia pseudoacacia).
Additional constructional components (platforms, roofs, etc.) are also made of oak, the exceptional construction parameters of which are well known.
From the harvesting phase, through barking, sanding, to binding into sets, all wood is hand-processed. Finally, processed material is glazed with top quality synthetic paints and natural purified-plant raw material oil paints bearing European ecology certificates.
Unless stainless materials are used, metal components used (connecting material, chains, metal sheets, etc.) are protected from corrosion (e.g. by galvanizing). Connecting strength material meets the ČSN, DIN, and TÜV technical standards.
We can confirm that most materials used can be completely recyclable, do not present a health risk, and are environmentally friendly.
Despite their exceptionality and originality, our products bear certificates in accordance with ČSN-EN 1176, securing children’s safety.

Acacia Wood

Coming from the American continent, its vegetation here is doing really well.  However, forest managers generally consider it weed tree. It has been planted here since the 17th century. Acacia wood is semi-hard, with extremely high natural life, ductile wood mass, and resistance to both wind and fungal wood diseases. Another of its many advantages is its beautifully crooked, yellow-green wood full of natural alkaloids; when drying, it does not create long sharp splinters that might cause injury (contrary to e.g. fir). It is one of the hardest woods growing in Europe. This makes acacia wood products highly resistant to wind, pest, and vandals. Its processing is, due to its natural crookedness and hardness, highly demanding. The entire process of production, from the beginning to the final product, is handmade.

Stainless Steel

Components that are in direct contact with users are also very important. These include slides, sliding poles, chain bridge railings, etc. The components of our play features are made of stainless steel.

Webs

Climbing webs represent an important part of play features. For maximum vandal resistance, our play features are made of special PAD ropes with steel core.

Landing Areas

Another important playground safety feature is the use of suitable landing material. Landing material for children playgrounds differs depending on maximum height of possible fall. Lawn is sufficient for falls from up to 100 cm. Falls from more than 100 cm require either powder material, i.e. sand of 0.2 to 0.72 mm fraction, or gravel sand of 2 to 8 mm fraction. Bark and wooden chips may also be used. Another possibility is the use of synthetic material - either rubber of moulded rubber.
